All About Munchkin

Methods and Food

Phew. Just managed to make myself eat everything that's listed on my sample diet for today. It wasn't easy -- but I did it by eating slowly and chewing everything carefully. It's not even a huge amount of food, I just can't pack it in there like I used to. Baby takes up too much room:)

Speaking of whom, Munchkin is kicking like nobody's business today -- feels like the tango in there, which makes me smile and smile and smile.

Steph and I were trading emails today about childbirth classes, so I thought I'd stick the link up to the Bradley ® Method again, so y'all can see what I'm up to on Sunday nights. We're on class number 3 though our instructor has melded some of the classes together, so that we'll only have 9 sessions instead of twelve, so we've actually already covered most of what's explained on the curriculum site for lessons 1, 2 and 3 and are moving into content for 4, 5 and 6.

Natural childbirth isn't for everyone, but I really want to give it my best effort, and from my research, the Bradley Method seemed likeliest to give me the best shot at holding fast to that decision. Sabs seems to be getting into it more and more as time goes on and though some of the exercises have made me sore, by and large I enjoy the feeling of doing something constructive to get ready for the birth.

I'm thinking of reorgnaizing the design on these pages a little, to include a sidebar, it's struck me that the log is sort of floating around loosely in the ether without much context, so we'll see what a little bit of weekend puttering will bring.
