Cool.. knock yourself out;) I'm reveling in the rain that has been falling for 2 days straight now. It's like I was just as thirsty as the land, longing for moisture to freshen my thoughts as it freshened the grass. I was feeling down and out at the heels yesterday and vaguely ill to boot. But my point of view on the rain seems to have adjusted over night. I was blaming the sudden change in the weather for my down spell, but I think now it was just fatigue. It's so nice to see everything wet ... the tar on the roads, people, the grass, the birds sporting in the puddles, the corresponding drop in tourists out and about *heh*. No I can't seem to stop ragging on the poor beleaguered folks who keep coming to our glorious capital to ogle the sights. *rowr rowr rowr* I eat them for breakfast. ba ha ha! I want scanner time. I have nifty pix of sabs and I to put up and I couldn't get the scanning program to recgonize the scanner a few days ago and I had to scram so I didn't get 'em scanned. So the other day I went over to beg the owner of the mac with photoshop and scanner and other fun graphics capabilites if he could scan FOR me since I'm obviously so clueless. But he was too busy, so today I'm thinking I'll just ask him if he's using a different scanning program now, instead of the one that I've been using up til now, or if he hasn't been connecting the scanner etc. etc. and then I'll lie in wait for him to leave the office. Heh heh. Crafty BethyOwl. Nah, not really. Just cranky/desperate. Oh and I'm still rabidly pissed at the Internic's procedures for making changes to contact information for domain names. I now need to change my authorization scheme so that their system will accept my changes, since my email address in their authorization is a mail ALIAS so it has never registered as coming from an authorized address. *ARGH* frustration at bureaucracy red-tape schlep stuff. The paper looks pretty darn pitiful this week. I anticipate that I will finish the whole thing TONIGHT and not have much to do tomorrow ... yes! and have a good weekend:) I need one gosh darnit all:) |
