May 14, 1997 11:42 AM It's another beautiful day out there, breezy and cool with bright sunshine. It's warm but not hot, just a gorgeous day. And I'm stuck in the office WAHHH!. I spent an inordinate amount of time on the phone last night to three friends of mine, 2 in Massachusetts and 1 in Atlanta. I'm going to see some friends of mine graduate from my alma mater you see, and I'm trying to get all my plans set so that I can see everyone. My good friend Jennifer is coming up from Atlanta too, so it should be quite a get-together. However, it's somewhat frightening to think that an entire year has passed by since I graduated. Somehow it slipped by very quickly, it seems like yesterday that I started working here at The Chronicle back in June of last year. Yet June 1997 is almost upon us and it seems that the time never happened at all. Time is a tricky thing, or at least our perception of it is. Is time really as rigid as we think it is? Or is it only bound by our perceptions of it? On a side-note I decided to rename this section of the site. I'm not complaining enough for this really to be a RANT, so it's a RAMBLE instead:) |
